Southeast

New Life/New Hope in Southeast Region, MACUCC!

It was once said that "Tradition is the living faith of dead people, but traditionalism is the dead faith of living people." In our region we are seeking that faithful and energizing balance between the deep wisdom of those who have walked with God before us and the new ways that God is Still Speaking in our era. It is life giving.

The Southeast Region of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ includes seventy-four local churches from Quincy to near Provincetown and from Mansfield to West Tisbury! Twenty congregations are in Barnstable Association, with 18 on Cape Cod and two on Martha's Vineyard; twenty-two are in Old Colony Association, on the South Coast of Massachusetts; with thirty-two in Pilgrim Association which includes Plymouth, "The Rock" with Pilgrim History connecting us to 1620!
