Your 2007 OCWM Pledge

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Our Church’s Wider Mission is….Sunday School lessons for kids…Gift checks for retired pastors with emergency needs…Irrigation pipes in the desert…Military chaplains in Iraq…Teenagers at summertime church events…A welcoming approach to the Gospel…Volunteers reading to the blind…New pastors for congregations…New ways to worship…Refugees coming home to their new country…Witness for peace on earth…Christians who take the Bible seriously, but not literally.

We ask that you:

• Study the enclosed information and learn all you can about the ministries supported by Our Church’s Wider Mission Basic Support;

• Read Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians, chapters 8 and 9 where Paul asks the Corinthians to support their brothers and sisters in the church in Jerusalem;

• Prayerfully consider what God would have your church give to support the ministries of the Massachusetts Conference and the United Church of Christ.

• Return the pledge estimate card (downloadable below in PDF format) or e-mail your pledge to Karen Jones at jonesk@macucc.org.
