Your generous gifts to the Friends of the Conference continue to generate results!

Over the past few years, your Friends of the Conference gifts have helped to send dozens of youth to the National Youth Event and to General Synod – and here’s what one of them had to say on Facebook:

Last spring, your gifts made it possible for numerous pastors to afford the Faith and Fund-raising seminar. Talk about value and results – here’s what one pastor wrote:

It was the best seminar I have attended in any context, whether in my former academic life, or ministry settings. It is one thing to say that “faith follows mission”. It is another to have learned how to make that simple statement come alive in my congregation…we are already worrying less and doing more.

Your gifts have done still more:

You funded the creation of a user-friendly tool to help local congregations claim a health insurance reimbursement credit worth thousands of dollars;
You funded a dozen members from our Hispanic churches to be guests at our Conference Annual Meeting and you sent one of our Hispanic pastors to a national evangelism event;
You funded a seminary visit by one of our Area Conference Ministers to recruit more newly ordained and young ministers to the Massachusetts Conference.

Join me in continuing to fund these and other innovations. While half of my 10% personal tithe goes to my local church, I’m giving $1,000 to the Friends of the Conference.
