A New Start

Over 50 people gather at Mashpee-Wakeby Town Beach for a sunrise worship service on Easter morning. The service is led by Mashpee Congregational Church, United Church of Christ pastor Jim Scovil. MassReLeaf Ministry: Planting Trees for Human Justice and Survival

The MassReLeaf Ministry is a partnership of the UCC Massachusetts Conference and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The goal of the MassReLeaf Ministry is to help local religious organizations across Massachusetts minister to the physical and mental health, emotional stability and community spirit of people living in deforested urban and blighted areas through real hands-on tree planting projects.
