An ordained minister, Dr. Lafayette has served as President of American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds Ed.M. and Ed.D. from Harvard University, and has served on many faculties. He has published widely, and traveled extensively to many countries as lecturer and consultant on peace and nonviolence.
