Part 2 of the
Massachusetts Conference 208th Annual Meeting

The Massachusetts Conference 208th Annual Meeting will take place in 2 parts during 2007 and in 2 different locations. Each of the meetings will provide a unique experience for visitors and delegates. The June 22, 2007 meeting at the Crowne Plaze in Cromwell, Connecticut is an opportunity to take advantage of the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the United Church of Christ and the 26th General Synod that will be hosted in Hartford, Connecticut. Part 2 will take place at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Highlights of the Annual Meeting Part 2 will include a morning business session, a lunch and keynote address, 25 workshops and the installation of Jim Antal, our Conference Minister and President. The registration fee for each of the meetings is $50, or a total of $100, similar to the registration fee for the 2006 Annual Meeting at Mount Holyoke College.

If you registered for Part 1 of the 208th Annual Meeting do you need to register again? Yes, the Part 2 registration forms will be available on line through the MACUCC website as well as in hard copy through the mail to local churches.

If I paid $50 for Part 1 of the 208th Annual Meeting do I need to pay another registration fee for Part 2? Yes, the registration fee for each part of the Annual Meeting is $50 ($65 after Sept. 15) for a total of $100. This is comparable to the registration fee for the 207th Annual Meeting at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley.

Included in your registration fee:

Continental Breakfast in Registration area ( 8:00-9:30 ) includes: Freshly brewed coffee, decaffeinated coffee and tea, assorted chilled fruit juices, muffins, Danish and croissants.

Lunch (12:00-1:30) – An Italian Buffet which includes antipasto salad presentation, tri colored cheese tortellini Alfredo, baked ziti, sausage & meatballs, roasted tomatoes, onions & peppers, fresh garlic bread, mini cannoli & biscotti, and beverages. Pre-registration is required for lunch.

How do I indicate which workshop I want to attend in September? If you attended Part One of the Annual Meeting, you received in your delegate packet a description of the workshop choices that will be offered on September 29th as well as a checklist titled “Pre-Registration Workshop Choices”. If you are completed that form at Part One of the Annual Meeting and turned it in, please DO NOT COMPLETE the workshop choices form a second time!

How do I register for Part 2 of the 208th Annual Meeting?

Where do I find advance materials for the 208 th Annual Meeting Part 2? All of the materials will be available on the Massachusetts Conference web site at www.macucc.org.

Where can I stay if I want to come the night before the Annual Meeting in Worcester and/or stay through Sunday morning?

For those visitors and delegates who prefer to arrive in Worcester on Friday, September 28, 2007 and stay through Sunday, September 30, 2007 the following accommodations are available. Delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements for accommodations.
