A Special Invitation to ALL
Delegates and Visitors
to the 208th Annual Meeting
to Sing in the Choir

You are invited to sing in the CONFERENCE CHOIR for Saturday Worship on September 29, 2007 at the 208th Annual Meeting at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main Street, Worcester. In past years our worship has been enhanced with choirs of over 80 delegates and visitors and we hope that this year will be even larger. The Worship Committee hopes that you and other members of your church will gather from across the Massachusetts Conference, UCC all joining together in singing our praise to God as well as celebrating our life together as a Conference of local churches.

The service on Saturday will be exceptionally joyful as the Rev. Dr. Jim Antal, our Conference Minister and President, will be installed. It promises to be an exciting service and your participation in the choir will make it richer.

A REHEARSAL will be a workshop choice beginning at 2:00 until 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 29th. The service of worship will begin at 4:00 PM. You do not have to be a delegate to the Annual Meeting to participate. Visitors from local churches and delegates are strongly urged to sing in the choir for this special service.

DRESS for the CONFERENCE CHOIR is a white shirt or blouse and dark pants or skirt.

CHORAL DIRECTOR for the Conference Choir is Patrick Evans, Director of Chapel Music, Marquand Chapel, Yale Divinity School, New Haven, Connecticut.

If you would like to be part of the Massachusetts Conference Choir this year, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW. This will guide us in ordering adequate music.
